Arto's Gravis Shoe Tour will be at Special Sauce Bay Shore Tuesday Feb 23rd at about 3:30
Gravis will once again be on the road, this time promoting Arto Saari's newest shoe release, the Arto and Arto Lx. The Gravis skateboarding team including Arto Saari, Dylan Rieder, Jake Johnson, Sam Winter, and Steve Forstner will be jet setting from city to city for your very own nostalgic enjoyment. So come hang out with some of the world's best professional skaters at a shop near you to score some free product and autographs.

Last year, Shaun White disappeared from the snowboard scene,taking refuge in the wilds of Colorado training for what would be the biggest winter of his life. Envy On the Coast x Lights Resolve Acoustic Performance
A lot to catch up on...this past Saturday we got together with Sparrow Media and 150+ guests for a last minute benefit to support the tradegy in Haiti. Thanks to the efforts of our man Andy who brought in the acoustic chops of Long Island's own Envy On The Coast, Lights Resolve and Taking Back Sunday's own Matt Fazzi. Fans and supporters poured into our Huntington location with much needed supplies and money donations that are now on their way to Haiti. We have to thank everyone that came through for this showcase. Take a look at a few snaps. We'll be adding much more shortly.

NIKE SB | January Release- "LOST" Pack
Nike SB drops their January Quickstrike pack that includes the "Dharma" Blazer High and the "Oceanic Airlines" Dunk High, both inspired by the show LOST in anticipation of its final season. Full size run at box price available at both our store locations.
The beige colorway draws inspiration from the uniforms by the fictional research group called the DHARMA Initiative. As part of SB's eco-friendly initiative, the sneaker includes a clever hit marked on the heel and the insole with the word "SHOE" in reference to the no frills supplies provided on the island.
The Dunk High goes bright this month with turqoise/germain blue and fuschia colorway, representitive of the ficticious airline "OCEANIC" Flight 815 that crashed on the mysterious island.

Post Wrap Up
Thanks to all who came out to support last Thursday night for the Street HeART exhibition and our anniversary celebration. Time to celebrate another 15 years! After many months working in conjunction with the Guardian Brain Foundation, we finally opened our upstairs gallery space in Huntington. Hosted by Ivan (UAF), beats by Nick Pepe and the help of 22 artists, we are currently featuring 40 pieces of artwork for sale. Works featured are from local, NYC and the Netherlands. Artists on deck include: Sauce's own Rudy, Tony Memento, Brooklyn based Mike Perry, Darrin Umboh, Lennard Schuurmans, Staynice, Zeptonn (Shop Around), legendary writers Poem and ROS, Eric Ziobrowski, Such (SWK), Pheos and many more. Special shout to Steven owner of The Eatery @ Tullulahs for the good eats, Blue Point and Berentzen for keeping us properly hydrated. We then kept things sauced thanks to the Artful Dodger to celebrate our milestone. The crowd was treated to classics courtesy of Dennis Fernando, Darren DeGeroge and Rob James! HAPPY HOLIDAYS | Ride x Universal x Zune Giveaway
To spread that holiday cheer and some added incentive for your shopping mayhem, we've teamed up with the good folks over at Universal for a day of giveaways coming up this Sunday, December 20th at noon in our Bayshore store. NEW ARRIVAL | NIKE SB NOVEMBER RELEASE
With much anticipation the November releases from Nike SB have arrived and almost gone in one full sweep. Before we had the chance to post up news about the much talked about and wanted "Gucci's", was as quick as they sold. There is still a small run left over at both our Bay Shore and Huntington locations. Get 'em before they are gone forever. We have to admit that the colorway does stay true to the iconic brand.
Now, if you weren't able to cop your Gucci's, SB has also released the new "HUF" Blazer. Available in both a white and black colorway, the clean cut blazer is offered in a tone on tone swoosh canvas style, very reminicent to the "Chuck Taylor". The November apparel to match should be coming any day now . Stay tuned.

A few images...we'll be dropping more shortly.This past Friday 13th we hosted the 5x5 Exhibition at Sauce in Huntington, featuring 20 pieces of diverse artwork on display from artists Candido, Crespo, Edwin Bolta (All in Time), Mikey Stylez, Andy Gallardo and Patrick Keefer. The dismal weather didn't slow things down, as the house was packed. Thank you to everyone who came out to support. A special thanks to Red Bull and Blue Point Brewery for keeping our thirst properly quenched. For those of you who didn't make it don't worry, there's going to be a lot more in store. NIKE SB "BRAIN WRECK"
New Nike SB "Brain Wreck" shipment has just arrived. SB teamed up once again with the artist Todd Bratrud to create his third design following up to the 2006 release of the "Send Helps" and "Bratrud" in 2008. The capsule release will feature the new dunk-hi with grey suede/fuschia santeen tongue, brain stitch lining, and Brain Wreck written on the back heel, a black 5-panel hat with satin lining and matching t-shirt. First come first served. Available at both store locations.

NIKE SB | October Release Pack
Get your fill of tricks and treats for this coming Halloween season. Nike SB drops a collection of six new colorways to satisfy your need for some tasty bites. The matching apparel will be landing in both our store locations shortly.
The new DUNK LOW colorway is deemed as the "Undead" which include a zombie graphic insole to keep your heels company. To pay tribute to all things classic, SB releases the "Cookie Monster" DUNK MID along with the newly revamped CLASSICS known as the "Draculas" based off of the eyes from the late and forever great Béla Lugosi. The last set of three include the new colorway release for the BLAZER which we're dropping as the "Bermuda". The new P-ROD3and TRE AD receive new color pops as well. RECAP | éS Game of Skate in Bay Shore
Its official, the éS Game of Skate that we held this past Sunday in Bayshore was a success. It was one of the largest turn outs to be held so far, with 200 entries. Many thanks to the judges for keeping things orderly. A special shout to EVERYONE who chose to enter. We have to give a big thanks to Bragan, Keating from éS, as well as our entire Sauce fam for making this a successful day. Last but not least congratulations to Tommy Calder for winning 1st. place. Be on the look out for him next as he hits the NYC event. Stay tuned.

Irons Brothers Productions is pleased to announce our newest project, "A Fly in the Champagne".
The rivalry between Andy Irons and Kelly Slater has been one of folklore for a decade now.
The two most influential surfers of all-time have had a much-publicized dislike for each other over the years.
Irons Brothers Productions embarked on a two-week excursion to Indonesia with Andy and Kelly to capture what everyone thought could never happen, a trip together. What ensued was groundbreaking and captivating.
Shot from land, boat, and water, Irons Brothers Productions captured history.
This project was shot solely on HD and film cameras.
With co-sponsoring from Billabong®, Quiksilver®, ESPN® and Transworld Surf®, there is no doubt that this will be a highly successful project.

The Nike SB Dunk High "Quagmire" is rumored to be inspired from the sex-crazed bachelor Glenn Quagmire, from the cartoon series Family Guy.
The "Quagmire" Dunks feature the same colors as the character's clothing, even down to the star pattern on the uppers, which is the same pattern on Quagmire's shirt. With the popularity of the cartoon, it would be an awesome partnership for both Nike SB and Family Guy.
We can only wait and see if the rest of the characters get their own Dunk. I can only imagine the potential craziness. What character would have the best colorway?
We first featured this pair of Nike SB Dunk Low Premium's back in December, and they have been highly anticipated ever since. They are actually a collaboration with Brooklyn Projects. The colorway has officially been labeled halo / zitron which basically consists of a vibrant color palette of blue, green, yellow, and beige. The white midsole is a classic feature of Nike Dunks, while the gum rubber bottom is adored by fanatics.
